Rick Parfitt

Chief Rick Parfitt has 37 years of experience ranging from municipal to campus policing. Chief Parfitt started his career as a 19-year-old police officer in a ski resort community and is currently Chief of Police and Director of Public Safety for Florida SouthWestern State College in Ft Myers, FL.

He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, 195th Session and a certified law enforcement instructor in Florida.  Chief Parfitt is also the author of numerous articles that appeared in Campus Law Enforcement Journal, The Police Marksman, and The Florida Police Chief.
