Will Morris is a 2003 graduate of Louisiana State University Law School. After a clerkship with a State criminal court judge, Will joined the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office in 2005. He has served as a Misdemeanor Assistant, Felony Assistant, Section Chief of a Trial Section, Section Chief of the Violent Crime Unit, and as of September 2015 is Section Chief of the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Crime Strategies Unit. Will supervises the unit which consists of two Assistant District Attorneys, including himself, an Assistant United States Attorney, three investigators, two National Guard counter-drug intelligence analysts, and eight interns from the Sociology Department at Louisiana State University. The District Attorney’s Crime Strategies Unit is a multi-agency unit whose mission is to improve public safety through data and intelligence-driven prosecutions and crime intervention efforts.
