Mr. Robert (Bob) Walker, PMP, holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University as well as an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and has been managing technology-related projects in the defense sector for more than 32 years. Mr. Walker served on active duty in the US Air Force for 6 years and in the Air Force Reserves until his retirement in 2008. Mr. Walker has managed projects ranging in value from $50,000 to more than $80 million across a broad range of technical domains. Mr. Walker has been certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute since 2005.
Since 2013, Mr. Walker has served as the Cole Engineering Services, Inc. (CESI) Enhanced Dynamic Geo-Social Environment (EDGE) Program Manager overseeing the company’s gaming technology development efforts. His team develops immersive virtual training tools based on the EDGE platform as well as conducting research in other applications of game-based technologies such as real-time puppeteering and large-scale virtual collective training. To date, there have been 5 different versions of training levels within the EDGE eco-system and more than a dozen prototype and research efforts.
