Domestic Violence crimes are best combatted with a coordinated community response. This webinar will explore the dynamics of domestic violence and the importance of focusing on evidence-based investigation and prosecution in domestic violence and domestic homicide investigations. It will provide both novice and experienced detectives with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct successful investigations of domestic violence and how to hold offenders accountable and therefore prevent future abuse.
The National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) is one of the largest associations of law enforcement professionals in the United States, representing more than 3,000 elected sheriffs across the nation, and a total membership of more than 20,000.
