As criminals do not adhere to jurisdictional boundaries, neither should law enforcement and prosecutors who are involved in the investigation and prosecution of firearm-related crimes.  The suspect in a drive-by shooting or murder in one jurisdiction may be apprehended in a neighboring jurisdiction and important evidence collected – whether this suspect and evidence is connected to the shooting incident depends on the establishment of a timely regional crime gun intelligence initiative.

When establishing a regional preventive crime gun intelligence initiative, there are many processes and policies to consider.  This webinar will include presenters from forensic labs and law enforcement agencies who have achieved success with establishing and enhancing their regional preventive crime gun intelligence programs as a result of discovering THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.  Through the discussion of specific strategies and these agencies have developed, attendees will learn about the variety of approaches that can be implemented in their own region to achieve success.

This webinar is sponsored by Ultra Electronics Forensics Technology.  Ultra Electronics Forensic Technology is a leader in forensic analysis providing innovative and effective solutions like its unique technology: the Integrated Ballistics Identification System (IBIS®). IBIS is designed to find the “needle in the haystack” by discovering matches between pairs of spent bullets and cartridge cases at speeds well beyond human capacity. Forensic Technology helps experts obtain timely information so they can make society a safer place. By registering for this event you hereby authorize the Justice Clearinghouse to share your registration information with our sponsor organization.
